Shipping Wedding Favors

When planning a wedding, or any event, one of the most important questions you'll have is when will your product ship and how long will it take for it to get to you.

Where do we ship our wedding favors?

Products can be shipped anywhere in the United States and Hawaii. Some products can be shipped to Canada. The product order form will specify if Canada shipping is available for that item.

When do we ship out your order?

Orders not needing you to approve a proof are generally shipped out within one week.

Orders needing your proofs approval, (not all products have the option of proofing), are shipped out within 10 to 15 working days after approval of your proof. Turnaround time for our personalized wedding chip favors is 3 to 4 weeks (this includes proofing time).

Canada shipments usually take one to two weeks for shipment delivery.

Which shipping provider do we use?

Wedding bookmarks, wine labels, sparkling cider labels, and water bottle labels are shipped via USPS Priority shipping. The shipments travel time is about 3 to 4 business days. This however, is not guaranteed. During major holidays, shipments can be delayed by several extra days. Sweetly Wrapped Occasions cannot guarantee that orders shipped Priority Mailing will arrive within 3 to 4 business days, as some circumstances are beyond Sweetly Wrapped Occasions's control.

Personalized lovesavers, wedding bubbles, and personalized sparkling cider wedding bottle favors are shipped via DHL ground from the West Coast. The shipments travel time for these are depending up where you live. Generally the travel time is anywhere from 1 to 6 business days. The more on the East Coast you are, the more days it will take, the more on the West Coast you are, the fewer days it will take.

Gourmet cookies are shipped via Fed-Ex.

Our personalized mint tins, gourmet chocolate bar wedding favors and other favors are generally shipped via UPS from the East Coast. The more on the East Coast you are, the fewer days it will take. The more on the West Coast you are, the more days it will take.

Does rush orders include the cost of rush shipping wedding favors?

Generally rush orders are processed within 3 to 4 business days after we have received your approved proof, if one is needed. The first day of processing begins the next day after you have approved your proof. For this reason, we recommend that you check your e-mail box for your proof with 24 business hours after you have placed your order as to not delay in-house processing time. There is generally a $25.00 rush order fee associated with rush orders. However, this does not include rush shipping. Some of our products ask you whether you want to rush ship your order and you can pay for this when you check out with your order. Products not having the option for you to add rush shipping, though you would like to, please contact us after you've placed your order with your order number. Tell us that you want to add rush shipping. We'll calculate the cost and e-mail an invoice within 24 business hours for you to pay online. Or if you'd like, we can bill your credit card for the additional rush shipping charges. We will e-mail with the cost of the additional rush shipping charges for your approval before billing your credit card.

How do we calculate the shipping costs?

Shipping rates for online orders are calculated by the ordered product's weight, product quantity, mailing destination and the cost of mailing materials. The cost of mailing materials is not included in the cost of the product, but the shipping. This will be calculated before you check out with your shopping cart. All shipping rates include a very small handling fee. This handling fee is the take that we take to carefully package your order with the best packaging materials. For mail in or faxed orders, shipping and handling is calculating by adding 12.5% of your order subtotal.

What if my order shipment gets lost or damaged?

Though rare, things can sometimes happen. We will be happy to insure your order upon request. After you've placed your order, send us e-mail with your Order No. and your consent for us to bill your credit card for the shipping insurance fees.
